Connie Fiedler was born in New York City and spent her summers on Cape Cod. She studied at the Woodstock School of Art and has drawn inspiration from Wyeth, Wolf Kahn and John Singer Sargeant. Delighting in color relationships, she treats the elements of light, land and man-made forms either realistically or abstractly in her expressive Wellfleet landscapes. Her work has been exhibited from Saratoga Springs, NY to Venice, FL, including solo shows at the New York Public Library in 2007 and in both Beacon and Hudson, New York, in 2008.
