Monica Rozak majored in studio art and theater at Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY., concentrating on etching and lithography.
She exhibited at fine arts and crafts festivals and juried trade shows, where she sold her figurative fiber sculptures to galleries in the United States, England, Japan and South America.
First experiencing Cape Cod light in 1986 led Monica to study landscape painting with artists Rick Fleury, Wendy Olin and Christie Scheele.
Monica paints in Western NY, where she spent much of her childhood; Maine, where she recently studied with John David Wissler; and on Cape Cod, where she lives in Eastham.
