Nancy Nicol

Nancy Nicol has a BA in Art Ed., an MA in Special Ed., and from Harvard Grad School an Ed. M. in Counseling and Consulting Psychology.  She furthered her studies at Castle Hill, Truro, MA and through Art New England at Bennington College, where she found mentors Stuart Diamond and John McNamara.

She has exhibited at many galleries and in juried and invitational shows, including at Castle Hill and at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum.  For twelve years she had her own gallery in Wellfleet, Gallery 5.  In addition to the Burdick Art Gallery, Nancy shows at The Viridian Contemporary Gallery, NYC, and at the Whydah Museum in Provincetown.

A practicing LMF therapist, known for her oil paintings of sea life, ponds and wetlands, oyster shells and shacks, Nancy also creates assemblages and cat sculptures at her home in Wellfleet.
